The Day The World Went Dark

The sun has finally died! 
The whole world is in chaos, and here on this small, metro island everyone is lost in the dark!
A Park Ranger rescues and recruits you to help them find the others.

 
Using only a ham radio, a broken flashlight and your ears, you must navigate the noisy island environment and seek out the calls of stranded survivors.
Scan the radio waves for distress signals, use clues from the radio and echolocation to lead the survivors back to the Ranger Station in the heart of the island.

The Day The World Went Dark strives for 100% Blind-accessibility. This audio game (with some visuals) was our submission for Global Game Jam 2021.
